Sigil Bestiary – Ancient Dragon – and new bestiary format

We have a new format for the Sigil Bestiary, or rather an updated format to include a few new things. Starting this week, each new Bestiary entry will include a Sanctuary section that will show special rules for encountering the creature on its home turf. If the creature is encountered elsewhere, then it doesn’t get these benefits. The other new addition to the Bestiary is reserved only for the strongest and most powerful of creatures, those of myths and legends, and is appropriately called Mythic Actions. These are actions that the creature can take when it is not the creature’s turn as a reaction to being targetted by the PCs (or

Sigil Emporium – Mirror of Lohr

Some men will do anything for love, even creating the most deadly of poisons. In the forgotten city of Lohr, a magus fell in love with a woman who was as vain as he was powerful. Crafting ever more impressive objects to win her favour, the magus eventually created an enchanted talking hand-mirror that could only speak the truth. Sigil Bestiary – The Fairy

The Fae are terrible and alien creatures that stalk the veil between the aether and the mortal realms, hunting beasts too monstrous to see, and hoarding knowledge man was never meant to know. Fairies are lovely, cheerful, diminutive little pixies that flit about here and there, doing whatever their instincts and intuitions compel them to do. Fairies have few goals in life beyond joy, wonder and awe at the world around them. Their cheerfully childish,

Sigil Emporium – Ice Sickle

It was carved from the first frost that formed in the world by the hands of the personifications of Time and Death. The Ice Sickle at first glance seems like nothing more than a curio for a gentleman’s display case: a small harvesting sickle barely one foot in diameter, made seemingly out of glass with a handle of stone. In truth, the “stone” handle is permafrost and the blade is the purest ice as clear and strong as diamond. Both ice and permafrost is kept eternally frozen by the powers of the Ice Sickle itself. Following on from the attributes of its creators, the Ice Sickle’s powers revolve around the use

Sigil Bestiary – The Warrior

In troubled times, Warriors are the most common profession, and may range from common brigands and bandits, to ruthless amoral mercenaries and adventurers, to stout men-at-arms, and all the way up to the gallant knights in their shining armour and colourful tabards. As long as you have the strength to carry a blade and the will to use it, then you too can be a Warrior. Being a Warrior means being in constant danger, moving from battle to battle, from war to war. Whether they were trained from birth for this, or were thrown into the deep end and had to sink or swim, Warriors learn quickly how to defend themselves
